Abstract~The synthetic technologies for p-hydroxyphenylethylamine including the process based on phenylacet0nitrile，
p—hydr0xyacet0phen0ne，p-methoxybenzaldehyde and p-hydroxybenzaldehyde are introduced．The likely commercial process
for p-hydr0xyphenylethylamine is based on p-hydroxybenzaldehyde by means of condensation and reduction．
